Asbestos Removal
AAAGS Demolition & Excavation can safely remove any non-friable asbestos that you may require. Some of these items include:
- Asbestos roofing, capping, guttering and downpipes.
- Asbestos contaminated fencing.
- Asbestos contaminated internal and external wall claddings and coverings.
- Asbestos contaminated floor coverings, such as lino and glued plastic tiles.
- Compacted fibrous flooring and tiles commonly found in bathrooms, laundries and kitchens.
- Asbestos contamination in-ground, commonly found in soils, sands and cements.
Our team removes asbestos in accordance with the Code of Practice for the Safe Removal of Asbestos (2011). More specifically, we use the wet spray method, keeping materials wet down during the safe removal process.
Our trained employees have significant experience in the safe removal of asbestos. Our Asbestos Removal Control Plan is specifically designed on a site by site basis for the most common and most detailed asbestos removal projects. On completion of all licensed asbestos projects, a certificate of clearance is obtained by a licensed asbestos assessor as a measure of quality, assurance and compliance. A tipping receipt for the asbestos disposal will also be provided on every project.
Asbestos Inspections
AAAGS Asbestos Removal can provide detailed inspection services for residential and small commercial properties. Inspections typically include a review of the property with the client to make decisions on where asbestos contaminated materials are located and are “likely” to be located. Once the property has been reviewed, a report is prepared and provided with the findings of the inspection.
AAAGS Asbestos Removal can also provide asbestos testing services, ensuring the materials in question are asbestos contaminated.
Asbestos Clearances
A clearance certificate is required under New South Wales legislation where more than 10 square metres of asbestos has been removed. AAAGS Asbestos Removal can provide a certificate of clearance for any non-friable asbestos removal project.
